Submitting Your Files To Knight Printing
Knight Printing offers a variety of ways to transfer your digital files to our preflight team. You can email them to your Customer Service Representative or Account Executive, transfer them via FTP, use a Knight Printing Uploader, snail mail your digital media directly to us, or just drop it off if you’re in the neighborhood.
Please, if you transfer files over the web, zip or stuff the files into a single archive using your compression software. This is useful, not only to reduce file size and facilitate faster file transfer, but it also provides some degree of protection from file corruption, and it makes things easier for our preflight team.
FTP Transfer
For clients who are comfortable using an FTP client application, we can provide you with a username and password to access our FTP server, contact your Customer Service Representative or Account Executive for further information.
FTP Transfer via web browser
For clients who are NOT comfortable using an FTP client application, Knight Printing provides access to our FTP server via a web browser. Contact your CSR or AE for further information.
Knight Printing Uploaders
We also provide easy to install, easy to use, drag-and-drop applications to clients who transfer files to us on a regular basis. Contact your CSR or AE to obtain an uploader specifically for your organization.
If your file is small (less than 10 MB for instance) then emailing your files to your Customer Service Representative or Account Executive may be an option. Contact your CSR or AE for further information about how to email files directly to them.
Please contact your Customer Service Representative for further information about any of these methods of transferring files to Knight Printing. When transferring files to Knight Printing, it is best to let your CSR or AE know that you will be sending files, so that they can alert the Preflight Team.
