The assets of Knight Printing Company; Knight, LLC; Knight Printing, LLC; and Knight Media Group, LLC all of Fargo, ND have been sold to Colortech Holdings, LLC which is also a Fargo based firm. Colortech will operate as Knight Printing under a DBA of Colortech Holdings, LLC in the same location beginning Monday, February 8, 2010.
Knight Printing Company; Knight, LLC; Knight Printing, LLC; and Knight Media Group, LLC are owned by a group of investors, including The Marcil Group a Fargo based real estate and development company. Marcil purchased Knight Printing in September 2008. Knight purchased Richtman’s Printing in 2009 and the operations were consolidated into one plant on Fiechtner Drive in Fargo. Marcil Goup CEO, Mike Marcil says, “This is a good opportunity for both parties and I am confident the new owners will continue to serve all the customers with the same high quality they have come to know from Knight”. Colortech’s Managing Member, Sanjay Patel says, “The transition should be seamless to the customers. The staff at Knight from the sales people, customer service representatives, press operators and other skilled people who make Knight operate with quality and efficiency will continue to fulfill all orders”.
The Ownership change is effective Sunday, February 7, 2010.
Colortech holdings is owned by Sanjay Patel and the Patel Group of Fargo. The Patels have lived in Fargo for 18 years. Patels also own NetHertz Corporation, a telecom and technology company which is based in Fargo and serves call centers throughout the world. The Group sees the print business also serving their technology customers and was looking to expand his telecom and call center communication products with print marketing. Mr. Patel says, “This opportunity will fit well with us.” The Patels also own hotels including the Red River Lodge in Fargo.
